Mailbox Monday: 25th January

Welcome to Mailbox Monday!

Last week I read Angelfall and World After by Susan Ee and now I just have to know what happens in the final book of the trilogy, End of Days. This trilogy is just SO FREAKING GOOD! I can’t believe I waited so long to start reading it… I’m planning to do a review post soon.

And while I was in Waterstones, I also found a copy of Everything Everything by Nicola Yoon. I like the scrap-book look of the inside of the book and I can’t wait to start it!

Both books were published in 2015, so they’re  perfect for the 2015-themed Backli15t Readathon which I’m doing at the moment!

What are you reading right now? Did anything great land in your ‘mailbox’ this week?

  1. I read everything everything before! I hope you enjoy it and nope, no books came in the mail this week but I picked up some books from my thrift shop. 🙂 Check out my blog if you have the time? I just started my blog a couple of days ago haha

    • What a cute blog, I love it! Looking for books in thrift shops is so much fun! I love it when people leave ‘post it’ reviews just inside the front cover – do they do that where you are?

  2. Hi Annette,

I have quite eclectic tastes in my reading, however I never touch science fiction and fantasy is a genre I only read on rare occasions, generally after accepting an author request.

‘Everything, Everything’ does look tempting I have to admit. I am quite an introvert, so the notion of being allergic to the world and having to stay hidden away, could sound quite appealing sometimes, when the hustle and bustle of modern living gets to be a bit too much.

Oh! Wait though … does this mean I would be alergic to books though? … In which case it’s not such a good idea.

Thanks for stopping by Fiction Books this week. I enjoy meeting new people, so your visits and comments will always be welcome 🙂

  3. I really need to finish the Penryn & the End of Days series! I really really loved Angelfall back when I read it in 2013, but I never got around to reading the sequels D: I really should, especially since I own both of them. I really hope you like the conclusion to that series, Annette!

I absolutely love books with mixed media inside the pages, and Everything, Everything looks like it has that in spades. I think that I should pick it up, just to look at the prettiness!

  4. End of Days was just so heart wrenching. I liked it way more than World After but not as much as Angelfall… because nothing can top Angelfall XD Everything Everything was one of Backl15t Blitz reads too! It was a really interesting book, I hope you like it 😀
