Hi, I’m Annie!
I am 30 years old and 5 foot 4 and a half inches… I get shorter by the decade, these days.
I love… libraries; crafts; zumba; dogs; NaNoWriMo; boardgames; cooking; sketching; painting; the BBC website; theatre; jazz; Sudoku; and travelling.
Things I’d like to learn in 2019:
- amazing facts about the world
- how to do 10,000 steps while sitting down
- to write a story and like the words I place on the page
- to snap my fingers like Samantha from Bewitched

Hi Annie! I’m Yamini (if you can’t pronounce it, just say Mini) and I love books too. 😀 Good luck with your blog. I enjoy reading your posts and will look forward to more. I also just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for the super sweet blogging award if you’re interested! http://theskepticalreader.wordpress.com/2013/06/25/super-sweet-blogging-award/
P.S. I really want a pet too but my family doesn’t let me get one. 😦 Maybe someday I can get a puppy of my dreams, what kind of pet do you want?
I would love 3 dogs (that’s the perfect number), but I work too much at the moment, live in a town and have no garden. Thanks for the nomination, I haven’t figured these awards out yet so for now I shall simply say thank you and hope that’s enough. 🙂
I’m so glad I found your blog, I look forward to reading more of your reviews! Just followed you on Twitter too. (:
I like your blog too!
Hello, Annie,
My name is JD, and I’ve recently written and published a book, The Quest for Juice, a darkly comic contemporary novel (http://amazon.com/dp/0615826822/). I’ve read several of the reviews on your blog, and I’m interested in giving you my book for review. Do you accept requests from authors for reviews?
Thanks for your time. I hope to hear back from you. 🙂
Hi JD,
Thank you for your interest, I’m flattered. The Quest for Juice sounds wonderful but I’m afraid I’m a ‘fluffy romance reader’ at heart, so I’m probably not the best person to review your novel.
Good luck with your release!
Thanks for your reply. I’ll be in touch if I write a fluffy romance novel. 😉
I’ve nominated you for TWO blog awards! Check it out: Liebster Award and Inner Peace Award

No pets? That’s fine! I’ve got too many! Maybe that’s how I feel sometimes. Professors can be wicked, you know.
wow, your blog is gorgeous! I am really enjoying scrolling through your posts 🙂
Thanks!

Hi I created my own book blog recently and just discovered your blog and read your about page! I saw that you want to learn more about astronomy. There’s an awesome app that I love called Sky Guide! It’s really easy to use and shows you what’s in space when you move your phone around!
That sounds like a really fun app! I shall look for it on the App Store – thank you!!
